Guy Marguerat has always been fascinated by cultural differences - and the conflicts and synergies which arise out of them - both in his social and professional environments.
He was born in Lausanne, Switzerland (February 1, 1954), grew up in Bern and graduated in mechanical engineering (Dipl. Ing. ETH) as well as in business administration (SIB, Zurich).
Over the years he has gained considerable, in-depth experience in intercultural negotiations and in different types of intercultural relationships, working for organisations like ABB, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Alstom in manager positions in Sales and strategic Purchasing.
This experience has gradually evolved into a strong desire to contribute to the resolution and prevention of intercultural conflicts. Alongside this experience and desire, Guy has undertaken intensive specialised training as an intercultural consultant and mediator, in particular, at the 5C-Institute in Zug (Switzerland).
Beside mediation, Guy steadily followed his longing for healing communities (Transformation process). Therefore he visited the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Europe (BBSHE in Bad Ischl, Austria), where he graduated in May 2007 (..
